Chapter 1: A Christmas Surprise
Once upon a time, on a snowy Christmas morning, a brand new toy rabbit sat at the top of a little boy's stocking. He was a velveteen rabbit, plump and soft, with a coat of brown and white spots, whiskers made of real thread, and long ears lined with pink satin. A sprig of holly was tucked between his paws.
